Palm Phone Verizon Release Date , Specs and Price
Palm, a California company that purchased the rights to the Palm brand from TCL, today launched the Palm Phone 2018 with a 3.3-inch HD screen, It costs $349.99 and Unlocked Version price $299 with a two-year contract, or $14.58/month for 24 months and will go on sale in November exclusively from Verizon Wireless in the US.
The Palm Phone comes with a Aluminum chassis, Gorilla Glass protection on the front and back and a water and dust-resistant body with IP68 ratings. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo), is powered by Snapdragon 435 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, has a 12-megapixel rear camera with flash and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
It comes with an embedded SIM card and an Li-Ion 800 mAh battery and phone has a custom UI without a home screen and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo), instead it shows all the on-board apps and gesture pad at the bottom of the screen can be accessed by swiping up, can be used to search for apps based on scrawling the first letter of the app, and shortcuts to the smartphone, messages, camera, face unlock ,WiFi Direct, hotspot and music apps.
The Life Mode puts the Palm Phone to sleep when you turn off the screen, preventing calls and notification. It also has Google Assistant and works with custom, voice-activated shortcuts. It weight just 62.5 grams.
